P2Drive connects your Patreon account with your Google Drive, backing up your content in a simple and automated way. In doing so, we handle sensitive information — and we take that responsibility seriously.
🔑 OAuth & Permissions
- We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 to connect to your Patreon and Google Drive accounts.
- We request the minimum necessary scopes to complete the backup process.
- You can revoke access at any time through your Patreon or Google account settings.
📂 Temporary File Handling
To transfer files from Patreon to Google Drive, we temporarily download your content to our secure servers.
- Files are stored in a secure, isolated location on disk.
- As soon as an upload completes successfully, the local file is immediately deleted.
- No permanent copies are kept.
- No one on our team has access to the contents of these files during transfer — we do not inspect or analyze them.
Honestly, even if we wanted to store everyone's content... we couldn't afford the disk space.
We're a backup service — not a data hoarder 😅
🛈 Note: We collect minimal technical logs (e.g., file size, transfer duration, and status) for diagnostics and service reliability — but never the contents of your files.
🔒 Token & Credential Storage
- OAuth tokens are encrypted using strong industry standards before being stored.
- We never store your Patreon or Google account password.
- All sensitive data is stored in encrypted databases and never shared with third parties.
